Aeromechanical Conveyor: Floveyor

Air dryer

This suction dryer [from Accrapak Systems’ 800 series] has been specially developed for the efficient drying of extruded plastic strands prior to pelletizing. It is available in six models and can process up to 60 strands simultaneously, making it ideal for masterbatch and compounding applications. Thanks to its compact, rollable design, the dryer can be flexibly integrated into production lines. The energy-efficient fan unit ensures low operating costs and low noise levels. The extracted moisture is collected in a tank and can either be discharged or fed back into the cooling system.

Water bath

These strand cooling baths [from Accrapak] are made of stainless steel and are suitable for a wide range of applications – from laboratory environments to high-performance compounding. Thanks to the height-adjustable base on castors, they can be moved freely and optimally integrated into the extrusion line. With individually adjustable, grooved strand guide rollers, efficient water flow and optional temperature control, the cooling baths enable precise process control. Variants with up to 80 strands and combinable solutions with dryer and pelletizer are available.
